Sinopsis

Inti, nacido en Quito el 15 de octubre de 1947, pertenece a la histórica dinastía de los “Salas”, familia de pintores que ha dejado una huella profunda en el arte ecuatoriano desde el siglo XVIII. Tras formarse en la Escuela de Bellas Artes, inició su carrera en el mundo de la publicidad como ilustrador y director de arte en agencias reconocidas, pero hacia 1990 decidió dedicarse plenamente a la pintura, iniciando una etapa de exposiciones en Ecuador y en el extranjero, especialmente en Europa, donde su obra fue altamente valorada.

En su trayectoria artística, Inti ha explorado diferentes corrientes y temáticas, hasta llegar a su serie más representativa: La Presencia del Ser Humano en la Naturaleza. Esta obra busca retratar los paisajes más significativos del Ecuador, los Andes y otras regiones del mundo, plasmando la relación entre lo urbano y lo natural desde una perspectiva casi aérea. Para el maestro, el arte es disciplina, investigación y un compromiso con dar lo mejor de sí mismo en cada creación.

Inti, born in Quito on October 15, 1947, belongs to the historic Salas dynasty, a family of painters who have left a profound mark on Ecuadorian art since the 18th century. After training at the School of Fine Arts, he began his career in advertising as an illustrator and art director for renowned agencies, but around 1990, he decided to dedicate himself fully to painting, beginning a period of exhibitions in Ecuador and abroad, especially in Europe, where his work was highly valued.

Throughout his artistic career, Inti has explored different currents and themes, leading to his most representative series: The Presence of Human Beings in Nature. This work seeks to portray the most significant landscapes of Ecuador, the Andes, and other regions of the world, capturing the relationship between the urban and the natural from an almost aerial perspective. For the master, art is discipline, research, and a commitment to giving the best of himself in each creation.
